EyeSurfForPeace.com was started by Elyse
Richman in the summer of 2007 when she purchased a surfboard
for her young son Maxwell who is 7 years old. The first
time she saw Maxwell out there on the water trying to balance
himself on his long-board was all the inspiration she needed
to come up with the idea for EyeSurfForPeace.com. Having
been a retailer for over 20 years Elyse felt she had to do
something to help children out there in the world. So
through the distribution, purchase and sale of our products
we will raise awareness and funds for the villages in Darfur.
With the purchase of a T-shirt or Bracelet you
are contributing to the fight for a better way of life, giving
hope for the future of these children and families. A
percentage of each product sold is given to kidsforkids.org.uk.
The money will help these children and families.
EyeSurfForPeace.com was started to show our support
for kidsforkids.org.uk: which is dedicated to raising awareness
of the hardships the children have to face in the remote villages
in Darfur, Sudan.
Kidsforkids.org.uk doesn't believe in charity, it believes in
giving the tools to the people to sustain their own village. |
